摘要

Abstract

A low-loss broadband terahertz filter based on two-dimensional photonic crystal is presented.The structure uses a linear defect straight waveguide to realize the transmission of the radiation wave.Terahertz wave can be well coupled by changing the point defect micro cavity of the dielectric cylinder radius and distribution which arranges in the middle of the straight waveguid, so as to achieve the filter effect.Simulation analysis about the characteristics of filter are carred out by using the plane wave expansion method (PWM) and the finite difference time-domain method (FDTD).Finally, two pairs of point defects have been introduced to realize the cascaded of two resonant cavities.
