Property of defect mode in one dimensional photonic crystals with (AB)Nab (BA)Nba structure

Abstract
Based on transfer matrix method (TMM), properties ofphotonic band-gap and defect mode are investigated in one dimensional photonic crystals with (AB)Nab (BA)Nba configuration.Firstly, both the resonance line width and transmittance of defect mode are investigated with various periodic numbers in the case of normal incidence.And then, the tunability of bandgap width, defect mode wavelength, and transmittance is realized by changing the refractive index and length of media.Finally, both wavelength and transmittance of defeet mode are given for various incidence angels.关键词
