Abstract
Objective:To investigate the morphological and immunohistochemical features and differential diagnosis of spindle cell carcinoma.Methods:The clinical and pathological data of 20 cases of spindle cell carcinoma were collected,and the morphological characteristics and immunohistochemical features were analyzed.Results:Among the 20 cases of spindle cell carcinoma,12 were male and 8 were female.The mean age was 62.5 years.Tumor cells were fusiform while tumor was not organ specificity,most cases were pleomorphism which is not obvious,a few mild cases of cells.Immunohistochemistry revealed that vimentin was positive in all cases,at least one of epithelial markers was positive.CK,34βE 12,CK5/6,EMA and p63 had higher positive rate.And desmin,calponin,SMA were positive in many cases.CD34,S-100,HMB-45,myogenin,MyoD 1,ALK were negative in all cases.Conclusion:Spindle cell carcinoma is a kind of tumor with special morphology and immune phenotype.关键词
