摘要

Abstract

Glycosylation can not only improve the physiochemical properties of biological macromolecules and small-molecule compounds,such as water solubility and stability, but also enhance their original bioactivity or confer a new activity.At present,extraction,chemical synthesis and enzymatic synthesis are the main tools of obtaining glycosylated products.However,the first two methods often show poor product diversity,low yield or poor specificity.The enzymatic glycosylation based on glycosyltransferase and glycosynthase can be a good solution to these obstacles and exhibits a number of advantages.As glycosyltransferase has been reviewed previously,this paper summarizes the recent progress of glycosynthase and provides reference for the development and application of multifunctional glycosynthase.
