Abstract

Aiming at fuel injection control in the electronically controlled double-valve fuel injection system of a diesel engine,this paper establishes a simulation model of the electronically controlled double-valve fuel injection system in the AMESim environment.The state matrices of the system that change over time during the injection process were acquired by using the linear analysis method.The stability and its influence factors of the system during injection were analyzed on the basis of the change of ranks and eigenvalue distribution of state matrices.The results show that the ranks of the state matrices are mainly affected by the action of the spill control valve,the needle control valve,and the needle valve.In the pressure building stage,owing to the compression of the plunger and the propagation,reflection,and superposition of the pressure wave within the high pressure volume,the system is in the unsteady state.In the fuel injection stage,after the needle valve reaches maximum lift,the flow state of fuel oil remains steady.In addition,the reflection and superposition of the pressure wave recede owing to the opening of the orifice,and system stability is enhanced.In the end stage of fuel injection,system stability increases,which is mainly caused by the strong damping effect of fuel discharge and attenuation of the pressure wave.
