碱性条件下煤电化学的脱硫机理
Mechanism behind coal electrochemistry desulfurization under alkaline conditions

Abstract
This paper is devoted to studying the mechanism underlying the desulfurization of coal-derived pyrite and organic sulfur in coal.The experiment consists of performing electrochemical desulfurization treatment of high sulfur coal samples with the content of 3.08% using the solution of NaOH with the concentration of 2.0 mol/L as electrolyte and employing the H type undivided electrolytic cell;providing scanning electron microscope energy spectrum analysis,XRF analysis,and infrared spectrum analysis of coal samples before and after desulfurization;and conducting ion chromatography analysis of the filtrate after coal sample electrolysis takes place.The results demonstrate that the inorganic sulfur of coal sample is distributed in the coal or embedded in coal particles mainly in the form of fine pyrite particles;the pyrite removal is achieved by generating sulfate due to oxidation reaction at the anode;and organic sulfur in coal samples is removed mainly by electrochemical reactions capable of converting it into the form of sulfate radicals.关键词
