Abstract
Objective To investigate the demand on sexual knowledge for tumor patients and analyze on medical staffs ' teaching status to provide evidence for unified and normative sexual knowledge education for tumor patients . Method Investigate 70 tumor patients , 30 oncology nurses and 15 oncology physicians by self-designed questionnaire . Result 77.3% patients have changed in sexual life after diagnosed as tumor. 71.2% patients have demand on sexual knowl-edge. Only 13.6% patients receive sexual education from medical staffs. 86.7% medical staffs think it necessary to give sexual education to tumor patients. 80.0% know little about sexual knowledge demand of tumor patients. 82.2% medical staffs never give any sexual education to tumor patients. Conclusion There is more demand on sexual knowledge of tumor patients than medical staffs give. A sexual education system can be built to meet patients ' demand on education.关键词
