An Ayue's Experience of Treating Ulcerative Colitis

摘要
Abstract
Professor An Ayue believes that abnormal natural endowment is the important premise of ulcerative colitis(UC).Such bad emotional stimulants as anxiety,thought,depression and anger are bad inducements.The most direct causes include preference for cold and raw food,greasy and sweet food,unhygienic food inducing damp-heat epidemic pathogen attacking the intestine.These three factors complicate as risk factors.Professor An values integrative Chinese medicine and western medicine.The early stage and acute stage of UC pertains to damp heat intermingling,syndrome of qi and blood stagnation.Professor An takes clearing heat and resolving dampness,promoting qi and harmonizing blood as the main therapy.For prolonged UC,the syndrome becomes complicated cold and heat,spleen deficiency and dampness retention,and the therapeutic method is mainly regulating and tonifying the spleen and stomach supplemented with clearing heat and resolving dampness,simultaneous application of cold and warm drugs,simultaneous use of tonics and purgatives.Simultaneous application of cold and warm drugs is to harmonize yin and yang;simultaneous use of pungent and bitter drugs is to regulate the ascent and descent;simultaneous use of tonics and purgatives is to take excess and deficiency into consideration.For patients with acute onset and critical condition,local enema of Kangfu Xinye can be applied.关键词
