Research on assembly line balancing problem considering multi-pro- fessional coordination

Abstract
In order to balance the aircraft final assembly lines, an ALBP-I(Assembly Line Balancing Problem of type I) based on multi-professional cooperative distribution is proposed. Firstly, the relevance between each profession is analyzed and a dynamic fuzzy clustering method is established so as to obtain the multi-professional sets related to"resource-func-tion". Secondly, according to the environment of the aircraft final assembly lines and the characteristics of related profes-sion, a balanced model based on multi-professional cooperative distribution is established. Then according to the result of professional division and the rules of work assignment, a hybrid algorithm combining the Simulated Annealing and Genetic Algorithm is presented to assign the highly relative operations to workspace(sets of work with high professional correlation grade, or operation executing space to perform an assembly task)and minimize the number of workspace. Finally, the pro-posed method is verified by an example of a real aircraft final assembly line and the results show its effectiveness.关键词
