Abstract
In order to explore a new railway operation management mode based on the present railway situation of Jiangsu province,this paper analyzed the inter-city railway transportation related theory and current operation modes firstly,then pointed out the rules and influencing factors for choosing proper railway operation management mode through an overall consideration on the previous analyses and the current situation of railway network in Jiangsu.The analyses show that self-operation management mode better suits the demand and planning of the inter-city railway in Jiangsu province and finally using SWOT to analyze the compatibility between self-operation management mode and the railway network in Jiangsu from a macro perspective.A conclusion that self-operation management mode could better maximize the economic and social benefits of the inter-city railway was drawn.关键词
