摘要

Abstract

In order to eliminate the adverse effects of high temperature in cutting, and the adhesion of the cutting tool and the workpiece, the cooling factors shall be added to achieve better cutting effect.In this study, the changes of chip shape, chip formation, cutting force, temperature and surface stress in different cooling cutting conditions were analyzed by simulating the common cooling methods (cold air, water jet, cold and warm air atomizing jet, cutting fluid).The result shows that the cold temperature and cold air atomizing jet is of the best cooling effect.
