"对分课堂"模式在高职儿科护理教学中的应用与效果评价
Implementation of and Evaluation on PAD Teaching in Pediatric Nursing for Higher Vocational Students

Abstract
Objective To apply the PAD teaching in education of Pediatric Nursing and assess its effect. Methods One class of 2014 higher vocational nursing students was selected randomly as experimental group (n=51), in which PAD teaching method was applied,and another class as control group (n=53), in which problem-based learning was applied. The teaching outcomes were evaluated through students' performance in final exam and two questionnaires survey about students' autonomous learning ability and their satisfaction with the course. Results (1) Students' total scores in final examination, their score of the item of multiple choices, true and false selection and case analysis in experimental group were higher when compared with those in control group and it indicated statistical significance (P<0.05). But there was no statistically significant difference in students' performance in the item of explanation for the terms, blank-filling and short answer questions in two groups(P>0.05). (2) The total score of students' autonomous learning ability and the scores of each dimension in experimental group were significantly higher after the intervention and when compared with that of control group (P<0.05). (3) Most students (80%) in experimental group held a positive attitude for PAD teaching and hoped to experience it in the future. Of the total, 76%of the students agreed that it could improve learning effectiveness, 90%enhance learning enthusiasm and initiative,88% improve the autonomous learning ability, 84% contribute to a deeper understanding of the course. Conclusion PAD teaching can improve academic performance and autonomous learning ability and it is feasible to apply in Pediatric Nursing for higher vocational students.关键词
