Abstract
Objective To investigate the current status and influence factors of diabetes distress among the type 2 diabetes patients. Methods General information questionnaire, Diabetes Distress Scale(DDS) and Mishel's Uncertainty in illness Scale-adult(MUIS-A) were used to survey 250 patients with type 2 diabetes in a class Ⅲ grade Ⅰ hospital in Dalian city.Multiple stepwise regression was used to analysis influence factors of diabetes distress in them. Results The average score of diabetes distress of patients with type 2 diabetes was 2.49 ±0.83 and the total score of uncertainty in illness 96.54 ±11.67. The diabetes distress was positively related with patient's uncertainty in illness (r=0.350, P<0.01). Multiple stepwise regression showed that the educational background, course of disease, uncertainty in illness were the main influence factors of diabetes distress (P<0.05). Conclusion The patients' diabetes distress was in a middle level and patients' uncertainty in illness needs to be further improved. Educational levels, course of disease, uncertainty in illness were the influence factors of diabetes distress. Healthcare workers should pay attention to the current situation of patients' uncertainty in illness. Targeted interventions based on the influence factors of diabetes distress are beneficial to reducing diabetes distress in patients with type 2 diabetes and improving their quality of life.关键词
