Status of Vocational Delay of Gratification of Nurses in Class Ⅲ GradeⅠHospitals and Its Influence Factors

Abstract
Objective To know the current situation of nurses' vocational delay of gratification and doctor-nurse cooperation in class Ⅲ grade Ⅰ hospitals and to analyze its influence factors. Methods Totally 471 nurses from 10 class Ⅲ grade Ⅰ hospitals in Changsha were surveyed with the general information questionnaire, Vocational Delay of Gratification Scale and Nurse-physician Collaboration Scale. Hierarchical regression analysis was used for multi-factor analysis. Results The total score of 471 nurses' vocational delay of gratification was 22.64±3.29. Hierarchical regression showed that education background, professional title, position and cooperation with the doctors were influence factors of gratification vocational delay (P<0.05). Conclusion The vocational delay of gratification of nurses in class Ⅲ grade Ⅰ hospitals is in above average level. Education background, professional title, position and cooperation with the doctors are its main influence factors. Scientific and reasonable nursing staff deployment and mutual respect and communication between doctors and nurses are conducive to promoting medical cooperation, thus enhancing nurses' ability of gratification vocational delay and improving nursing quality.关键词
