Abstract
The development mode followed in Latin America, which mainly depends on export of raw materials to the world market, is unsustainable.It not only damages the local natural environment severely but also destroys its industrial ecological environment, resulting in the deteriorating robust of overall development of the region.Based on this background, the author proposes a kind of "alternatives to development" with the core idea of "Buen Vivir", or post-extractivism, which aims to deconstruct the ideology of the obsession with economic growth as a goal.According to the author, the possibility of bringing about these changes lies in the progressive politics to get away from attaching to the ideology of growth, materialist reductionism, and to overcome the difficulties in understanding the demands of new social movements on issues such as environment, gender and interculturalism.关键词
