Abstract
The Han and Jin dynasties witnessed the heyday of the Xi (习) family getting involved in Chinese politics, with Xi Xiang and Xi Yu taking up prominent imperial posts.During the Three Kingdoms period, a number of personages from the Xi (习) family rose to political refulgence, of whom the representative ones include Xi Xun, Xi Zhu, Xi Chenye, Xi Ai, Xi Zhen (习珍), Xi Zhen (习祯), Xi Zhong, Xi Longzu, et cetera.Toward the Jin Dynasty, Xi Wen, though assuming inconspicuous government posts successively, kept a rather low profile and exhibited a considerable degree of political acuity.As an important and typical figure of the Xi (习) family in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.关键词
