摘要

Abstract

A new-type electromagnetic clutch is designed based on the magnetic resistance principle , and the paper introduces its basic structure and working principles .In view of the jumping of external gear of the new-type electromagnetic clutch under certain loading moment , the torque theoretic analysis calculation is performed for the clutch .And a numerical model is developed for the new clutch in Maxwell to analyze the effect of the variation of internal and external gear slip an -gles on the electromagnetic property and torque characteristics , and study the effect of variation of number of ampere-turns of magnet exciting coil on the maximum torque of the new clutch .The study result shows that the design scheme for the new-type electromagnetic clutch is feasible , and that the clutch could be widely applied .
