摘要

Abstract

The new maize hybrid Nuoda 1 was studied under different planting densities to investigate their effects on yield,leaf area index (LAI) and dry matter accumulation.The results showed that the yield of maize significantly increased with the increase of planting density in the range of 60 000 ~ 82 500 plants/hm2,while it gradually decreased with the increase of planting density beyond a certain value.The yield presented a conical relationship with planting density.The LAI increased with the increase of planting density,and reached the peak at the filling stage and then began to reduce.The dynamics of maize dry matter accumulation of single plant and population both showed "S" curve.The dry matter accumulation of single plant decreased with the increase of planting density,while that of population increased with the increase of planting density within limits.The dry matter accumulation of population no longer increased when the planting density was more than 82 500 plants/hm2.
