摘要

Abstract

Objective To screen out the microRNAs (miRNAs) differentially expressed between type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients with and without coronary heart disease.Methods Clinical data were obtained from 30 cases of T2DM patients with coronary heart disease and 30 cases of T2DM patients without coronary heart disease, respectively.miRNA identification was performed by microarray for differentially expressed miRNAs and their expression was confirmed by real-time fluorescence quantification RT-PCR.The relationships between the differentially expressed miRNAs and clinical parameters were analyzed.Results According to the screening of microarray, 7 different miRNAs were selected as candidate miRNAs, including miR-765, miR-320c, miR-33b-3p, miR-21-5P, miR-22-3p, miR-20b-5p and miR-92a-3p.The expression of miR-765 and miR-320c was down-regulated in T2DM patients with coronary heart disease as compared with that of T2DM patients without coronary heart disease (both P<0.01).The expression of miR-765 and miR-320c was negatively correlated with HbA1C (β=-0.379, β=-0.192, both P<0.01) and LDL-C (β=-0.224, β=-0.232, both P<0.05).Conclusion miR-765 and miR-320c express differently between T2DM patients with and without coronary heart disease, which may be the potential biomarkers for T2DM patients with coronary heart disease.
