Future Network Energy Saving Algorithm Based on Software Definition
摘要
Abstract
With the rapid growth of network users and the continuous expansion of the network scale,energy consumption of the network has become more and more serious problem,so the network energy saving has become the focus. However,on the basis of the traditional network architecture,energy conservation research of the network is not effective,because there is no centralized control and management mechanism. Thus the future network SDN architecture is presented which separates control layer and data layer of devices. Control layer can obtain information of the whole network devices which is convenient to network of energy saving. On the basis of the global network, SDN provides a new green network energy saving technology which can collect the entire network topology and real-time traffic informa-tion of each equipment. On the basis of SDN,the binary energy-saving algorithm and greedy algorithm are put forward. Through central-ized management and preprocessing traffic by SDN,the better energy efficiency is achieved. Finally,the simulation results can be seen that the proposed algorithm is indeed better than traditional one.关键词
