科技英语中的模糊美学特征与翻译
On the Fuzzy Aesthetics of English for Science and Technology and Its Translation
摘要
Abstract
The precision of language is always a relative feature,while fuzziness is an absolute and universal one.Although English for science and technology (EST) belongs to the class of precise language,it does not reject the proper use of fuzzy language.Instead,the wide and proper use of fuzzy language can greatly enhance the readability and interestingness of English for science and technology.Based on the theory of fuzzy aesthetics,this paper probes into the fuzzy features of language and its translation,and then illustrates some basic characteristics of English for science and technology,and four translation techniques and methods are discussed.关键词
