Research progress of energy metabolism in chronic heart failure
摘要
Abstract
The heart has a high rate of adenosine triphosphate (ATP)production and turnover that is required to maintain its continuous mechanical work.Perturbations in ATP-generating processes may therefore affect contractile function directly.Characterizing cardiac metabolism in heart failure revealed several metabolic alterations called metabolic remodeling,ranging from changes in substrate use to mitochondrial dysfunction,ultimately resulting in ATP deficiency and impaired contractility.And,alterations in cardiac metabolism may also affect the progression to heart failure.The relationship between chronic heart failure and myocardial metabolic remodeling is worthy of attention,and many aspects of myocardial metabolic remodeling may also be potential therapeutic targets.In this paper,we reviewed the progress in the relationship between chronic heart failure and energy metabolism.关键词
