摘要

Abstract

In order to estimate whether commercial predatory mite Amblyseius makuwa Ehara could be used as a biological control agent against spider mites,experimental population of A.makuwa fed on Tetranychus cinnabarinus Boisduv was established in the laboratory for life table analysis.The functional responses of the predatory mite on different developmental stages (egg,nymph,female) of T.cinnabarinus was studied at (25 ± 1) ℃,RH 80%±5% and a 16L∶8D photoperiod.Results showed that the developmental durations of immature stages of A.makuwa fed on T.cinnabarinus were 1.90,0.62,0.82 and 1.26 d,respectively.The net reproduction rate (R0) was 11.80,the intrinsic increase rate (rm) was 0.175,the mean generation time (T) was 14.12 d,the finite increase rate (λ) was 1.191,the population doubling time (t) was 3.96 d,the daily fecundity was 1.22,and the fecundity of single female was 22.12.Functional responses ofA.makuwa to each stage of T.cinnabarinus could be described by the Holling Ⅱ type.The control efficiency of predator to egg was stronger than nymph,female,and a/Th was 12.5162,5.8730,4.4009,respectively.These results indicate that A.makuwa is a potential bio-control agent against T.cinnabarinus.
