Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with Mecobalamin tablets for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Methods:80 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy were randomly divided into two groups.40 cases in the control group were treated with Mecobalamin tablets,and 40 cases in the treatment group were given acupuncture treatment on the basis of the therapy in the control group.The total score of clinical examination symptom,the changes of nerve conduction velocity and the clinically curative effect were observed before and after treatment.Results:After treatment,the motor nerve conduction velocity and the sensory nerve conduction velocity were increased significantly (P ＜ 0.05),and the total score of clinical examination symptom was decreased significantly (P ＜ 0.05).There was a significant difference between the control group and the treatment group(P ＜ 0.05).The total effective rate was 87.5％ in the treatment group,and in the control group it was 67.5％.There was a significant difference between two groups(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with medicine can effectively improve the neurological symptoms and signs and improve nerve conduction velocity.The effect is significant in clinic.关键词
