Impacts of Wake Effect and Wind Characteristics on Low Voltage Ride Through of Doubly Fed Induction Generator

Abstract
In view of the doubly-fed induction wind turbines grid was generally used the low voltage ride through ability with rated input wind speed analysis method,leaded to lower precision,in order to make the results more close to the actual working condition,take wake effect between the wind turbine and the influence of different wind characteristics into account,set up the wind feature model,wind power grid model,the simulation analysis of the doubly fed induction generator after a fault happens in low voltage ride through ability and concluded that the amplitude of the same gradient wind、random wind、gust respectively to the wind farm,the effect of active power output respectively maximum、minimum、oscillation was the most severe.The three characteristics of the wind on the influence of reactive power and converter DC link voltage were very close.Wake effect reduced the downstream active power output capacity of the wind turbine,but for the entire wind farm could improve the low voltage ride through,reactive power compensation capacity,and reduced the converter DC link voltage oscillation.关键词
