Abstract
Effects of solution treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the A1-13.0Si-4.5 Cu-1.0Mg-2.0Ni alloy were investigated by means of microstructure observation,X-ray diffraction phase analysis a,scanning of topography,and hardness and tensile testing.The results show that the optimal solution treatment of the alloy is solution-treated at 510 ℃ for 6 h.After aging treatment,the strength of the alloy at room temperature increased from 187 MPa to 290 MPa,by 57.6%.Subjected to solution treatment,the eutectic Si crystals are absolutely spheroidized and distributed homogeneously in the α-Al matrix,reducing fragrnentation to the matrix.At the same time,the M-Mg2Si,θ-Al2Cu and Q-Al5Cu2Mg8Si6 phases are dissolved into the α-Al matrix to form supersaturated solid solution,and re-precipitated subsequently during the aging treatment,leading to solution strengthening and precipitation strengthening.关键词
