Abstract
Research on voltage sag assessment and the impact of distributed generation (DG) were conducted.EMTDC/PSCAD was the instrument used to work on the issue considering DG's location, output, operation models and the stochastic model of fault characteristics.System average RMS fluctuation frequency index (SARFI) was employed to assess voltage sag at different nodes.The Monte Carlo method was applied to a medium size distribution network, which analyzed the influence of DG on voltage sag.Simulation results showed that the access of DG could decrease the frequency of voltage sag, and the change of location, output and operation modes of DG all had impact on SARFI.This conclusion was available for reference in the optimization of DG's configuration and the mitigation voltage sag.关键词
