Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical sedative effect using 10% chloral hydrate enema during dental treatment for different age groups which have suffered from caries.Methods One hundred and fifty-six cases of dental treatment infants who had got caries were included in this study,they were divided into two groups A and B by age, and were given 10% chloral hydrate enema before the dental treatment respectively.To observe and compare the two groups of children with the drug effecting time,treatment operation time,sleeps maintain time,success rate and adverse reactions.Results Group A showed shorter time than group B in enema working time,and group A showed longer time than group B in maintain time of sedation,with significant difference.The two combination metered success rate is 85.26% in clinical sedative effect, and group A is 53.95% while group B is 20.00% in significant efficiency,there is statistically significant difference;Group A (93.42%) had higher success rate than group B (77.50%),with significant difference.Conclusion Hypnotic effect by 10%chloral hydrate enema in infancy caries during dental treatment is safe and reliable,and has high success rate.The smaller age has the faster drug effecting time,the longer sleep time,the higher efficiency and success rate.关键词
