Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of ultrasonic elastography (UE) in the differential diagnosis of suspected malignant thyroid nodules.Methods 52 cases of 98 thyroid nodules were examined with conventional ultrasonography,observe the nodular morphology,boundary,internal echo,rear echo attenuation nodules, aspect ratio,acoustic halo, internal calcification,distribution of blood,peripheral lymph node enlargement and other features;then the elastic imaging,the elastic image is divided into 0~IV.The results of ultrasound diagnosis and pathological results were compared.Results the results of ultrasound elasticity imaging:0~II grade 78 nodules (74 cases of benign,4 cases of malignant);III,IV grade a total of 20 cases (15 cases of malignant, 5 cases of benign).Based on the elastic stage IV~V is highly malignant and forecasting index,the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value, negative predictive value, accuracy rate of 78.9%,93.7%,75%,94.9%,90.8%,was significantly higher than that of conventional ultrasound and color Doppler energy ultrasound (P<0.05).Conclusion ultrasound imaging is helpful for the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules.关键词
