摘要

Abstract

Large bridges play a significant role in the development of both the urban traffic condition and the social economy.It is of high importance to monitor the operational bridges and to assess their security from the perspective of people's life and property safety.In this paper,a wireless bridge structure monitoring system was developed and a lower energy cost time synchronization algorithm LP-TPSN which can meet the system requirement was proposed.Then the deck vibration test of a bridge in Xiamen was carried out.The study shows that the wireless sensing system has the advantage of high accuracy,and the feature of easy operation,good instantaneity,and low overhead costs,which has a good application prospect in the field of structure monitoring and condition assessment of the bridges.
