摘要

Abstract

Suitable amount of negative thermal expansion materials Al2W3O12 was added to optimize the thermal expansion coefficient of SiCp/Al composite materials.Negative thermal expansion Al2W3O12 powders were firstly prepared by solid state reaction.By adding 10%,20%,30% (volume ratio) Al2W3O12 to the SiCP/Al composite powders,SiCp/Al2W3O12/Al composites were fabricated by powder metallurgy (P/M)technology.The experimental results showed that the composites with uniform organization and relatively high density were obtained.In the temperature range from room temperature to 200℃,the thermal expansion coefficient of the composites with the same mass ratio of Al was effectively reduced by increasing the amount of Al2W3O12.
