A Block Hierarchical Parallel Method for Real-Time Simulation of Microgrid

Abstract
The microgrid containing a large amount of high frequency power switches and nonlinear components has put forward high requirements for power system real-time simulation technology.In order to reduce the storage pressure of inverse matrices algorithm,the whole network is divided into multiple subnetworks and only the parameters for computing state variable and output variable of subnetworks are stored.Based on the sparse of the constraint equations between subnetworks,a multiport equivalent method of subnetwork hierarchical merge is proposed to reduce the computational cost.Under the condition of limited hardware resources of FPGA,a special processing unit realizing the fine-grained parallelism is designed.A low-voltage microgrid is simulated in real-time on a 5SGSMD5 chip with 2 μs time-step.By comparing the result with the simulation data of PSCAD platform,the feasibility and the accuracy of the proposed real-time simulation method are verified.关键词
