Global Optimization by Multi-Time-Stage Coordination for Network Reconfiguration Considering Vital Load Restoration

Abstract
Determining a feasible network reconfiguration scheme is very important for speeding the system restoration process and reducing the outage loss after a major blackout.In view of inability of the existing methods to realize coordinative optimization between different restoration stages,a global optimization approach based on multi-time-stage coordination for network reconfiguration considering vital load restoration is proposed in this paper.Firstly,the vital load is introduced as one of the restoration objectives of network reconfiguration to maintain the stability of the society and recovery process.Secondly,considering multiple constraints,a novel global optimization model for coordinative restoration of the units,vital loads and network construction is established.The established model is a complex multi-objective optimization problem with integer decision variables.By analyzing the intrinsic logicality of restoration action sequences,a two-step solving strategy is proposed,in which the reference number of the restoration stages is first determined and the objective functions are then optimized globally.The non-dominated neighbor immune algorithm and the variation coefficient method are employed to solve the proposed optimization model.The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated by the numerical results on the New England 10-unit 39-bus power system and a practical power system in Southwest China.关键词
