模块化多电平变流器子模块故障容错控制策略
A Fault-Tolerated Control Strategy for Sub-Module Faults of Modular Multilevel Converters

Abstract
As mounting numbers of modular multilevel converters (MMC) are increasingly applied in field of flexible HVDC,fault-tolerant control becomes more important.To resolve this problem,a fault-tolerant control strategy based on carrier phase shift modulation method is proposed.It compares several existing redundant fault-tolerant control schemes to ensure grid current constant.This method only resects fault sub-module symmetrically in fault phase to reduce number of sub-module (SM) removal.The carrier in fault phase is reconstructed to help avoiding neutral point shift and to ensure main ingredient of circulating current not changed through regulating sub-module capacitor voltage of fault phase,still containing mainly DC and the second harmonic components.This ensures circulating suppressor based on traditional proportional resonant is versatile before and after sub-module fault.So it can ensure grid current quality and reduce design complexity of sub-module fault-tolerant controller.Finally,simulation and experiment results verified feasibility of the proposed scheme.关键词
