摘要

Abstract

Development of HVDC grid is an effective technical solution to implement long-distance power transmission and large-scale renewable energy integration.As key equipment for interconnection between dc power lines with different voltage levels,HV high power DC/DC converter is a bottleneck restricting future HVDC grid promotion.Reported studies of DC/DC converter are mostly focused on LV low-power applications.The paper firstly addresses technical requirements of DC/DC converters in HVDC grid application.Then a survey of state-of-the-art topologies of HV high gain DC/DC converters is presented.Characteristics and application prospect of abovementioned DC/DC converters in HVDC grid are also summarized in detail.Key issues of high power DC/DC converters to be solved urgently are also pointed for HVDC grid application.Conclusions will provide essential theoretical and practical basis for industry application of future HVDC grid.
