Temperature Rise Simulation and Experimental Research of Liquid Metal Arc-Trigger
摘要
Abstract
A temperature-rise model based on Workbench simulation platform was built and the simulation of arc-trigger under rated current and over current was carried out respectively.A 1 kA prototype was developed for temperature rise test.The experiment results are in good agreement with the simulation result and the temperatures on measure point are precisely calculated.But under the over current situation,an arc has been triggered when current is 1 200 A which indicates that an electromagnetic force must be taken into consideration.The research work is a significant guide to the temperature-rise design of liquid metal arc-trigger.关键词
