风化半圆形河谷引起的土层与地形放大效应
Soil and Topographic Amplification Effects by a Weathered Semi-circular Canyon

Abstract
To investigate theoretically the 2D soil amplification,topographic amplification and their relative significance,an exact solution to the scattering and diffraction of plane SH waves induced by a weathered semi-circular canyon is proposed by the wavefunction expansion method within the framework of elastodynamics.The ground motions for both of the weathered and unweathered canyons are calculated and compared to reveal the roles of 2D soil and topographic effects.It is found that the 2D soil effects usually dominate the amplification pattern of surface ground motions within the weathered canyon,while the topographic effects control the amplification of ground motions outside the inhomegeneity.The 2D soil amplification generally outweighs the topographic amplification.关键词
