草根加筋土渗透性和强度试验研究
Experimental Research on Permeability and Strength of Grassroots-reinforced Soil

Abstract
The seepage caused by water level change is one of the important factors that cause slope instability.In order to prevent instability,based on thc principle of environmental protection,vegetation planting is applied to slope protection engineering.Through triaxial seepage shear tests of remolded soil and remolded grassroots-reinforced soil (RS and RGRS),the influence of grassroots on permeability and strength were analyzed.The laboratory test results show that:(1) The seepage can weaken the strength of RS and RGRS.The weakening extent increases with increasing hydraulic gradient.However,with the increase of confining pressure,the weakening extent reduces.(2) The internal friction angles of RS and RGRS don't change obviously with increasing hydraulic gradient,while the cohesions reduce.(3) By comparing the cohesion as well as failure strength of RS and those of RGRS,it can be concluded that the roots can improve the ability of soil resisting seepage damage.(4) The power function is presented to characterize the depth of considering the seepage damage to the strength of grassroots reinforced soil with hydrau lic gradient change.关键词
