摘要

Abstract

This study examined the purifying effect on farmhouse wastewater of a modified soil infiltration system by improving the design of a traditional soil infiltration system.The average removal rates of COD,NH4+-N,TN,and TP were 82.41%,91.06%,80.12%,and 88.59%,respectively,and the average removal rate of a sand filter on SS was 85.15%.The modified system surpasses the traditional soil infiltration system because the former's ease in plugging,low processing load,poor nitrogen,and difficulty in backwashing.The modified system can be widely used and applied to the region's rural sewage treatment.
