Degradation of tetracycline with Fenton reagent in aqueous solution
摘要
Abstract
Degradation of tetracycline (TC) with Fenton reagent was investigated in this study.The influences of the reaction conditions on the degradation efficiency were discussed,and the kinetics of the reaction was explored.The results showed that the optimum reaction conditions were as follows∶ H2O2/Fe2+ of 10∶ 1,pH 3.0,and H2O2 dosage of 1.58 mmol · L-1.Under these conditions,0.10 mmol · L-1 of TC degraded by 88.47% within 60 min of reaction,corresponding to an 18.48% TOC removal efficiency.The UV scanning spectrum revealed that the conjugated structure was destroyed first.The kinetics processes could be interpreted by a secondorder kinetics model.关键词
