Abstract
Objective To understand the enhancement effects, the clinical efficacy and the resultant side effects of CMNa in treating locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy.Method 86 patients of nasopharyngeal carcinoma were randomly divided into an experimental group (n=43) and a control group (n=43).The experimental group were treated with CMNa plus radiation and chemotherapy while the control group were treated with single radiation and chemotherapy.The clinical curative effects, irradiation doses when up to CR or PR, incidences of adverse reactions of the two groups were statistically analyzed.Findings The clinical total efficiency of the experimental group was 90.7% (39/43), which was significantly higher than that of the control group, which was 81.4% (35/43)(P<0.05).The irradiation dose up to CR or PR were significantly less (P<0.05).The incidences of grade I nausea and vomiting, peripheral white blood cells reduction were higher (P<0.05).The incidences of grade II nausea and vomiting, peripheral white blood cells reduction were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion CMNa has enhancement effects on the treatment of locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma by radiotherapy.It can enhance the clinical efficacy and does not increase the adverse reactions of patients to a great extent.关键词
