椭圆形孔洞对砂岩试样强度及变形特征影响研究
Study on the influence of elliptical hole on strength and deformation characteristics of sandstone sample

Abstract
With the DDL500 rock mechanics servo testing system,uniaxial compression tests were conducted on flat-shaped sandstone samples containing single prefabricated elliptical holes for studying the effects of α,dip angle between major axis of elliptical holes and axial stress on peak strength and deformation characteristics of sandstone samples.The results have shown that the peak strength of sand-stone samples decreases firstly,increases with the variation of angle α and then declines again,and it reaches the lowest when the value of α is 60°;the brittle rocks' integral changing laws of peak strength with variation of angle α are similar to those with variation of dip angle of single fissure,while the spe-cific changing laws show a slight difference because of the otherness of geometrical morphology of those two kinds of defects;with the variation of α from 0° to 90°,the final failure modes of sandstone samples containing single elliptical holes can be classified into shearing failure,splitting-shearing fail-ure and tensile failure.关键词
