Abstract
Objective:To investigate the incidence and symmetry of C-shaped canals and the location of radicular grooves in mandibular premolars by using cone beam computed tomography(CBCT).Methods:Forty-seven set of CBCT data were collected and analysed using its lyrics station.Results:The incidence of C-shaped canal in mandibular first premolars was 17.9%.The radicular groove mainly located on the mesiolingual surface of the roots.The incidence of symmetry of C-shaped canals in mandibular first premolars was 55.6%,but none of that in mandibular second premolars.Conclusion:The morphology of C-shaped canals in mandibular premolars was complicated,and being acquainted with the morphology may be quite essential to the root canal treatment.关键词
