Sizing Technology Difficulty and Control for Yarn-dyed Woven Fabric with Lower Sizing Percentage

Abstract
The problems and solutions of sizing for yarn-dyed woven products with lower sizing percentage were discussed.The quality indexes for dyed yarn were analyzed.The special sizing requirement and technology design principle of dyed yarn were explained.The sizing technology and weaving effect of four yarn-dyed woven products were taken as examples.It is pointed out that the temperature of size box should not be too high and sizing percentage should not be too big for yarn-dyed woven fabric.The moisture regain of sized yarn should be ensured not less than 6 %.Reasonably decreasing the sizing percentage is beneficial to improve the flexibility of sized yarn and increase loom efficiency.It is considered that sizing instruction and sizing technology should be set based on fiber characteristics,yarn structure and weaving characteristics to obtain better sizing effect.关键词
