Abstract
Objective: To study the clinical efficacy of vancomycin calcium sulfate particles treatment of chronic osteomyelitis. Methods in our hospital from July 2010 to 2016 from April 25 cases of chronic osteomyelitis patients were complete debridement combined with vancomycin calcium sulfate pellets were implanted, and depending on the specific circumstances of the patient to be flap to repair the wound treatment, by following up and observing the clinical curative effect. Results: 20 cases of incision stage I healing class, 5 cases with incision have ooze liquid, the dressing and application of recombinant human epidermal growth factor after complete healing, 25 cases were obtained good results, follow-up X-ray films showed that the bone defects filled with vancomycin calcium sulfate particles gradually absorbed, new bone gradually. All patients recovered well after operation. Conclusion: Vancomycin combined with calcium sulfate to form a solid particles, can replace bone graft, as a bone graft substitute, particles can be absorbed in the process of bone repair, and was replaced by new bone tissue. Because these particles are biodegradable and biocompatible, so it can be used for the infected site has filled and slow release antibiotic effect and can be absorbed gradually, inducing bone ingrowth. In solving the bone defect at the same time, can also maintain local antibiotic concentration at a high level, is an ideal method for treatment of chronic osteomyelitis.关键词
