跨文化语用视角下看中美交际模式的差异
Analysis of Chinese and American communicative patterns from the perspective of cross-cultural pragmatics
摘要
Abstract
The present paper aims at facilitating the cross-cultural communication,esp.the one between Chinese and Americans.The author approaches the communicative patterns of China and the United States under the guidance of high and low context theory by edward t.Hall and gives a summary as to the marked differences between the two contrasting patterns in the respects of orientation,thinking pattern and awareness towards communities.Then the author interprets all these differences with pragmatic theories including speech act theory and cooperative principles.The directness and indirectness are exposited by the former and the amount of information and attitude towards silence are interpreted by the latter.关键词
