A Power-voltage Controlled Grid-connected Inverter and Its Adaptability Research Under Weak Grid Conditions

Abstract
Conventional power-current controlled grid-tied inverters suffer from interactive stability issues including harmonic oscillations when integrated into weak ac grids. To overcome this limitation, a power-voltage control strategy based on the capacitor voltage feedback control of LCL filter was proposed in this paper. A detailed dynamic model for the inverter output impedance, including main circuit model, phase locked loop dynamics and regulator parameters, was developed in rotatingdq frame. The relationship between the grid stiffness and the stability margin of the proposed power-voltage control strategy was compared with that of the power-current control strategy based on the generalized Nyquist criterion. Through impedance analysis, the power-voltage controlled inverter can operate stably under weak grid conditions. In addition, the stability margin remains unchanged with the increase of the phase locked loop bandwidth, which is more adaptive under weak grid conditions. The simulation and experimental results were provided to show the effectiveness of theoretical analysis and the feasibility of the power-voltage control strategy.关键词
