Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western nursing care for elderly renal failure patients receiving hemodialysis. Methods A total of 90 elderly renal failure patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 49 cases in each group. Both two groups received routing nursing care during hemodialysis, and the integrated traditional Chinese and Western nursing intervention was carried out in the observation group. The evaluation of acute physiology and chronic health evaluation Ⅱ(APACHEⅡ), self-rating depression scale (SDS), self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) were performed, and the complication during treatment was observed. Results The overall score of APACHEⅡ, SAS and SDS were decreased in both two groups after nursing intervention, and were lower in the observation group than those of control groups (P<0.05). The incidence of complication was 816％(4/49)in the observation group and was 26.53％(13/49) in the control group, with a significant difference(P<0.05). Conclusion Application of integrated traditional Chinese and Western nursing intervention can alleviate negative emotions and reduce the risk of complications in elderly renal failure patients receiving hemodialysis.关键词
