摘要

Abstract

A self-designed directional solidification device were used to study the technologies of magnesium alloys directional solidification,the formation and distribution of MgO in fiat interface solidification process were studied,and its effects on mechanical properties was also tested.In solidification process,MgO particle distributed at the bottom of the grain is small,like a hollow ball and full of N2,it has little influence on the plastic.With the solidification continue,Mg17Al12 phase appears at the top of the grain,in which the impurity MgO and Ca2Mg appear,it makes the material strength increase and plasticity decrease.
