摘要

Abstract

Drilling experiment for making hole defects and the influence on the quality of hole wall was made by use of different types of cutting tools in the process of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) drilling.A single factor experiment was designed to do cutting system hole test for CFRP selecting different system of traditional twist drill,helical milling,step drill,brad drill.The machining defects were observed using super depth of field electron microscope,and the surface roughnesses were measured.The results show that,compared with the traditional system of twist drill hole,using helical milling,step drill or brad drill can reduce orifice of delamination defects,and effectively improve the surface quality.
